Welcome to the website for Scissors Creek Cattle Co. Our purebred herd has evolved over the last eleven years since the first black Simmentals were purchased in 2001, from Brian McCarthy of Spring Creek Simmentals.
In addition to the purebred operation we also have a commercial herd of about 70 Simmental, Black Angus cross cows. We also work together with Mark’s Uncle and Dad and all together we farm about 4000 acres of grain land and calve 350 commercial cows in addition to the purebred operation.
This spring we will be breeding around 120 black and red Simmentals and are again selling our bulls at the 6th Annual Proudly Western Bull Sale on March 31st in Whitewood, SK.
